What exactly am I buying?
A physical fine-art print made from an original documentary photograph, produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm using Giclée printing.
Are Humantique prints framed?
No. Unless stated otherwise, editions are sold unframed, allowing you to choose a frame for your space.
Are the prints signed or limited?
Current Humantique photographs are unsigned, unnumbered open editions.
What sizes are available?
8 × 12 in · 11 × 17 in · 16 × 24 in. Available sizes are shown on each product page.
Does the warm-white border form part of the print?
Yes. It is intentionally incorporated into the artwork file and forms part of the final composition. It should not be cropped when framing.
What kind of paper do you use?
Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm: a 100% cotton-rag fine-art paper with a natural white tone, matte finish and softly textured surface.
What is Giclée printing?
A precision fine-art inkjet process using pigment-based archival inks, chosen to preserve photographic detail, tonal transitions and colour depth.
How should I frame my print?
Use archival or acid-free materials. Avoid allowing the printed surface to touch ordinary glass directly, prolonged sunlight and excessive humidity.
Where were the photographs made?
The collection grows through real encounters with people, practices and places around the world. The location and year of every photograph are shown on its product page.
Where is my print produced?
Depending on the destination, prints may be manufactured in the UK, US, Europe or Australia through our fine-art production network.
Is my print produced only after I order?
Yes. Manufacturing typically takes around 72 hours before dispatch.
Can I cancel an order?
Contact us immediately. Cancellation may be possible before production begins but cannot be guaranteed afterwards.
What if my photograph arrives damaged?
Contact us with your order number, a short description and clear photographs. We will investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.
